DIY embellished shorts

For this DIY I'm sharing how I made these embellished shorts! 

Inspiration: Because I couldn't purchase these amazing Diane Von Furstenberg shorts featured in an outfit post by Song of Style, I thought it would be a perfect DIY!

For this DIY I used...

I also added a line of stitching to the outer hem to secure the ribbon.

Shorts: Forever 21

Top: Fringe and Lace (This one is old) love this one!

Ribbon/Rhinestones: Joann Fabric and Craft store

Sewing Kit: Restoration Hardware (best sewing kit ever)

I'm obsessed with these shorts! The color and print are fantastic and perfect for summer. I can't believe I snagged these on sale at the Jcrew outlet at the Oprymills mall!
